Long term weight management requires much more then dietary change. Advice regarding behaviour modification and appropriate changes in physical activity are essential to success. Furthermore many overweight patients have significant associated disease and may be on medication which needs to be monitored.
ORFAM feels strongly that medical practitioners are best placed to deal with these issues and therefore restricts availability of this program to doctors.
