Mushroom Pizza

Recipe suitable for ketogenic weight loss


  1. Heat olive oil in frying pan
  2. Cook onion and stir until softened and slightly browned
  3. Add diced tomatoes, garlic and your KetoVeg to the pan and saute until soft
  4. Season with salt and pepper
  5. Stir in lemon juice and remove pan from heat
  6. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C
  7. Place mushroom on an oven tray bottom side up with stem removed
  8. Bake for 6 minutes
  9. Remove mushroom from oven and add the ingredients from the frying pan, top with cherry tomatoes and cheese
  10. Bake for another 6 minutes or until centre is hot.
  11. Sprinkle pizza with your preferred herbs


  • 1 large flat mushroom
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 1 medium tomato diced
  • 4 cherry tomatoes quartered
  • 1 Tbsp of your favourite KetoVeg diced (mushroom, capsicum, chillies)
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • minced garlic to taste
  • dash lemon juice
  • sprinkle of grated cheese
  • parsley, rocket, chives or shallots to top
  • salt and pepper to taste
