Cranberry Juice Prevents Urinary Tract Infections

In 1998, researchers from Rutgers University identified that proanthocyanidins (PACs) from the cranberry fruit prevent Escherichia coli (E.coli), the primary bacteria responsible for UTIs, from attaching to cells in the urinary tract.

Thus, the bacteria are flushed from the tract rather than being allowed to adhere, grow and lead to infection.¹

Dr. MacLeod's Cranberry Cocktail provides 12mg of PACs per serve, up to four times the PAC levels of regular Cranberry juice drink in one 50ml serve.
