Boost is a nutritional supplement ideal for any person unable to eat normal food and therefore at risk of poor nutrition. e.g. following surgery, palliative care, digestive problems, medication, fussy eaters, etc.
Boost contains a balanced combination of essential nutrients, high quality protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals in a variety of easy to prepare and delicious meals, and is a complete feed. A single serve of any flavour provides at least 24 vitamins and minerals and at least one third of the RDI* of protein.**
Dr. Orchard developed the Boost range at the suggestion of a palliative care nurse frustrated by the lack of variety available in nutritional supplements. Other products available provided limited flavours and choice.
Boost offers a tantalizing wide variety of both sweet and savoury flavours including drinks, desserts, jellies and soups.
Creamy milk drinks easily prepared in a tumbler or shaker. The coffee and chocolate can be prepared hot if desired.
Flavours: wild strawberry, Dutch chocolate, French vanilla, banana, iced coffee.
For those that prefer a thicker consistency.
Flavours: chocolate, mango, vanilla.
Savoury and lightly spiced, they're all delicious and are ideal for those colder days.
Flavours: beef and mushroom, butternut pumpkin, cream of chicken, potato and leek.
Fruity and refreshing flavours, the jellies settle into a two layer flummery and clear jelly dessert as it cools.
